Manipulative
Manipulative play enables children to make their own discoveries and challenge them to use initiative and imagination.
When I am playing with puzzles, pegboards, sewing cards and other hands-on toys, I am:
- Strengthening and developing my small muscles
- Making discoveries
- Developing hand-eye co-ordination
- Working on problem solving skills
