Our Team

Kia Ora, My name is Tasha, I am currently working at our Maisey Place kidzworld Centre as Team leader of our baby area alongside an excellent team of capable and motivated staff. I love it here this place is like home, and the community is so supportive of our young children.

I am married to Rhys and we have three little boys, Wairua, Pouakai and Tahana. 

I am currently studying in my second year towards my bachelor degree in early child education and am loving the challange.

Kidzworld is like my second home, it is a place of growth and amazement, and I enjoy spending my time learning alongside your children.

Kia Ora, My Name is Tere, I am currently studying in My first year towards a bachelors in Early childhood education. My position within Our Maisey place centre is Team leader of the Over two's area.

I love working at kidzworld and enjoy spending time learning alongside the children and their families.

Hi my name is Raewyn, I have been working at kidzworld Maisey for about six months and I am loving it, I have just started studying towards my Bachelor degree in early childhood and am looking forward to getting stuck in to it.

I am married to Bruce and we have two wonderful children who both attend our Maisey Place centre. I love it here the staff are friendly and outgoing.

I look forward to getting to know all your children and working alongside them in the future.

Hi, My name is Molly, I am working in the Tui Room at Maisey Place. I have been working at kidzworld for the past 18 months and am really enjoying it.

I have been married to Warwick for the past 21 years and have an awesome son Aidan who is now six. Kidzworld is a great place to work, we always have fun and really enjoy a good laugh.

I am currently studying towards my Bachelor degree in early childhood education and am learning lot's about children's development.

I look forward to meeting your children and working alongside of them in the future.

Hello my name is Maxine, I am currently working in our specialized baby area, the Kiwi room. I am really enjoying working with babies they always amaze me as they achieve their milestones.

I have just applied to study for my Bachelor of Early childhood Education and am really looking forward to getting started.

I love working at Kidzworld the staff are awesome and very supportive, I am learning lots from them and look forward to spending time with your children soon. 

Kia ora I'm Nicky,

I joined the Maisey place whanau in December 2010 with my four year old son Logan. I also have an eight and half year old daughter named stacey.

I started my early childhood journey in 1994 completing the national nanny certificate, I then furthered my studies through New Zealand Tertairy College and Canterbury University with my Diploma of teaching in Ece and a certificate in learning support with an endoresment in special needs, I now am a fully registered teacher.

I come from another centre with thirteen years experience as an educarer and a manager. I am thoroughly enjoying working with the enthusiastic and lively bunch here at Maisey place who are all just as keen as I am to put their heart and soul into their careers to make a lasting impression on the ones who count; our Tamariki!

Hi my name is Louise,

I have worked in childcare for nearly six years. I studied through Te Tari Puna Ora o Aotearoa, NZCA gaining my DipTch in Early childhood education in December 2009.

I joined the Kidzworld Maisey place team in August 2010 as the supervisor of the under two area, where i work in the Tui room with the toddlers.

Prior to joining Kidzworld I worked at a mixed age group centre, but over the last six years I have developed a preference for working with the under two age group. I am passionate about encouraging independance and self responsibility, child initiation and communication.

Toddlers are at a stage where they develop so quickly, and using theories such as Reggio and Pikler, I believe they work with us to gain the knowledge to take themselves to the next step in their lives.

Having grown up on a farm all my life, I believe nature has alot  to offer children and greatly benefits their development. I am thoroughly enjoying working at kidzworld, and having the role of supervisor is taking me to the next step in my own professional development.

Childcare is so much fun, I couldn't think of a more rewarding job than seeing our children, the future of New Zealand develop before me and knowing I played a part in getting them there.

Hi My Name is Helen,

I have been at kidzworld for one year, I initially began as an on-call reliever but now have a permanent position working with our three and four year olds.

I enjoy creating different ways to present learning opportunities to the children in a fun and relaxed environment. As well as being able to enjoy all of our wonderful children here, i also have two of my own, a son, Jayden, and a daughter, Carmen.

Hi my name is Therese,

I have worked in early childhood for twenty years apart from the time when I was at home with my own five children. I am currently studying towards my degree in early childhood education. I have been working at kidzworld since July 2010 and am enjoying working with the toddlers here.
